I also play Kidale! I don't think they've threaded.

Pretty much Revan's first thought with Santa is "Wow, this kid's a dick." And it's pretty much immediately followed by "Who cares, isn't everyone?" He figures he might be able to use that they were both at Sabra as leverage if he ever needs Santa, but mostly so far he...can't be bothered to be bothered.

I'm canon blind, tell me how post-Sabra Santa is different from "normal" Santa?

Oh, yes, I don't think I threaded with him at all.

As for the question!! Crown (it's shorter than typing post-sabra santa okay) is actually not all that different from his canon counterpart, because the developments he had in Sabra really pushed him into that direction. Santa doesn't trust people, he very much thinks people are shitty and will take advantage of you if you let them. He has a really bad view on people as a whole because of his past experience, and the only person he unconditionally trusts (and is ready to do anything for) is his younger sister. It's very telling that at one point in canon he says that the four words he hates the most are hope, love, faith and luck (because they all can betray you). There are backstory reason as to why those four words are very important for him, but yeah, that's something that gives you an idea of the sort of worldview he holds.

Crown himself started with underlying trust issues, and. His team was Orion, so you can imagine how it went. This is something I wrote in my app, but like, unlike most people who when they weak up learn that their team is there for them, Crown woke up and the only member of his team he met was... Mitsuru. Everyone else either wasn't around much or disappeared into thin air, and yeah, they got lost and taken by the earth and everything, but for him the fact he and Mitsuru played a few games completely alone was a big message in "your team is not there for you" (this was before they were officially declared taken by the earth/judgenapped, by the way). A game where monsterhunter played together and they got TPKed made it worse because a) monsterhunter got hit HARD by a lot of teams, and b) because Cetus took a long time to make decisions, and even rejected Crown's, he felt like it was their fault they died. This by the way was a Mirror game, and Mitsuru had told me there would have been a penalty worse than death if they lost. S-so, yeah! The combination of all those factors pushed his general distrust for people through the roof-- he even got into a pretty bad fight with Mitsuru right after.

Then the memories he got, and the order in which he got them, really kind of pushed him to his original mentality. So Crown is very, very similar to Santa. This is part of why he doesn't have a preference in what he's called, he always introduces himself as "Crown, or Aoi" and lets people pick what they want because he just doesn't care much. Aoi is his real name by the way, Santa is an alias he uses in canon! He remembered his alias pretty early on in Sabra, but by the time he did he was already going by Crown, and he thought switching an alias for another alias was stupid, so he just kept Crown. Anyway all this to say that he himself doesn't really think of the two identities (that of Aoi Kurashiki and that of Crown) as being all that difference, which is why he doesn't care what name people use.

ALL IN ALL I think the major difference is that Crown is very slightly more open...ish... to the possibility of people not being completely awful. He got people he cared for in Sabra, and he is slowly trying to admit to himself that he does care for them, but it's difficult for him, and he's a Orion, and Orion banned feelings. But the fact there are people other than his sister is actually pretty telling.

A someecard that fit your characters?
